The appliances aren't built for repair anymore. You're watching this fellow fix our lamp, and you can look at how the older materials that we have, there were resources to build appliances and things to be repaired. They were quality. And you had-- now things are all plastic and cheaply built in China as quickly as you can. They don't last very long. And you throw them away in the trash.

Like your toasters.

So it's frustrating. So when you have the benefit of buying something that's an antique or inheriting something that's older, they're designed for a worker to go in and replace the wiring or to fix a little doohickey, or whatever. They're just the things that we purchase now aren't designed like that. And I find that very frustrating. And I don't think people focus on things that are going into the dump anymore.
