[MUSIC PLAYING] B.J. BAKER III: I was born in 1955, and the Baker Group was started in 1963. Our construction business was started in the basement of our home. At 11, my official title was assistant excavator. So that was my first experience in the construction business. It was time to transition the ownership of the company, but my immediate family did not have the desire to pursue the career that I chose. So it was time to figure that out. And there's one of two ways: Sell it to a strategic buyer or to the employees. And selling the company to the employees sure looks to me and from my experience a more successful approach. TYRELL ERB: To own a part of this company makes me feel like I am included. And people inside these walls want to see me win. JON JACKSON: The overall culture of how we treat people, how we help people gracefully enter into retirement-- the benefit package that exists at Baker Group, the ESOP, all of those things play a big role in that. B.J. BAKER III: Investing in employees through benefits is a critical foundation for them to come to work and feel good about what they're doing, that the company cares for them and is providing the resources they need to be successful.
