[MUSIC PLAYING] SPEAKER: California Adult Education Program. Technical Assistance Project. [MUSIC PLAYING] BETH WODECKI: At the Monterey Adult School, we continue to collaborate with local partners to make our families stronger and our communities better. We appreciate the collaboration. We are better together. NATHALIE GUTIERREZ: Being based here at the Monterey Adult School works best for our families, as it's a centralized location for them. Here at our Family Resource Center, we serve MPUSD families experiencing homelessness as well as foster youth and unaccompanied homeless minors. Our mission is to help remove barriers for students experiencing homelessness so that they can have equal access to education and continue their educational journey. ELIZABETH ALVAREZ: Monterey County Works connects our community with employment, training, and support services while helping local businesses meet their workforce needs. We are truly grateful for our wonderful partnership with the entire Monterey Adult School team. Together, we continue to collaborate and connect our community through co- enrollment and valuable services. ERIKA JASSO: WIC provides free nutrition support, health resources, and education for pregnant individuals, postpartum and breastfeeding parents, and children up to the age of 5 for low-income households. We're excited to partner with Monterrey Adult School because it lets us reach parents who are already on campuses working to further their education while raising their families. PATRICIA GUTIERREZ: The League of United Latin American Citizens connects students and families with resources, support, and opportunities. We help our community understand educational options, know their rights, and advocate for a brighter future. Together with Monterrey Adult School, we are building an informed, empowered community.
