Rosa Cauble: Hello, my name is Rosa Cauble, and I am from Fontana Adult School. This was our first time participating in the DLAC program and it has been an invaluable experience. Joining DLAC connected us to a broader adult community and guided us through the process of developing site plan goals, focused on improving technology integration for our students.

Our initial goal was to build online courses. However, over time, our goals transition DLAC helped us reflect, reassess, and identify more realistic and impactful goals based on the actual needs of our students and staff. As part of the DLAC program, we were introduced to ideal 101 and 102, which helped us better understand adult learners, navigate challenges, obstacles, and barriers, and create a case study.

Through discussion boards, conferences, and zoom meetings, DLAC provided a supportive platform for meaningful collaboration with guidance, coaching, and shared experiences. We built strong relationships with other adult school agencies, learning from their successes and solutions. DLAC has been instrumental in helping us design, structure, and implement our goal of bringing essential digital literacy skills to all of our students, and it continues to be an invaluable resource for the future.
