PRESENTER: When I think about employees' physical, financial, and mental well-being, I think, again, about treating employees like humans. At Ditto, we do what I call a MEPS check-in. How are you doing mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually? Because what's the point in having unlimited PTO if you can't afford to take a vacation? What's the point in offering a free gym membership if you suffer from clinical depression?
When you think about the physical, financial, and mental well-being of an employee, think about them as a human, and think about all the aspects that go into feeling good about your life. And again, one, employers should be doing these things because they should care about their employees as people. But two, it comes back to productivity. And it's a smart business model.
