Maricel Manglicmot: I'll start with this. I would go through the DLAC program all over again, and it's thanks to my positive experience. DLAC opened up a world of supportive people and tools that guided us on a path to make a change. I learned about myself as a leader and how to approach the next step in my goals. Our team went through a journey, not knowing what to do in the beginning, to confidently moving forward with results.

Sometimes working in adult education feels like you're being on an island. It feels like you're on your own without knowing how many other islands are out there. DLAC brings adult education schools together. And with our cohort, we were able to support each other, knowing that we came together for the same reason-- wanting to make a change. Because of DLAC, we ended up having a community of fellow adult educators to exchange ideas with, to talk about our ups and downs, and to inspire each other. The DLAC experience got us moving to be digital leaders, and I feel ready to continue spreading change.
