About this site The Adult Education system is publicly funded by California and the federal government, and makes public education programs available to all adults 18 years of age and older. Adult Education programs offer basic education courses and an opportunity to earn a high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate. Adult Education also offers career certified job training and English literacy and citizenship preparation programs, Adult Education programs are offered through local schools sand community colleges, libraries, and community based organizations and have locations throughout the cities and towns of California.
